libreja can send notifications to your users automatically via email.

Sending of notifications can be configured for the following events:

• Reminder for exceeding the loan period (Dunning)
• Confirmation of reservations
• Notification of availability of reserved media

For example an e-mail is automatically sent to the corresponding user when the loan period of a medium is exceeded. Likewise, the librarian may be notified by e-mail in case if new reservations to prepare them for pickup. Also, letters can be automatically delivered via e-mail in order to be printed out and send.

Texts and the subject of the e-mail can be defined. For this purpose we suggest a standard text, that you can edit. Placeholders are available for values like user name, book title, etc. (similar to serial letter).
